The rules for using Hiroshima Tour: what we do, what the booking platforms do, and where our responsibility ends.

Behind this website
Hiroshima Tour (hiroshimatour.top) is an independent guide to Hiroshima and Miyajima. We research, write and publish information and point you to tours you can book. We do not run tours, sell tickets, take payments or hold bookings.
Who handles the booking
Booking through one of our links creates a contract between you and GetYourGuide or Viator, or the operator, on that site and on its terms. The ticket, the trip itself, payment, changes, cancellation and refunds are theirs to handle.
How we show prices
Each price here is a starting price in whole US dollars, rounded to the nearest dollar. When a platform lists another currency we apply the European Central Bank's published rate, so the figure is close but not exact. Only the fare and the dates on the booking platform at checkout count.
How far you can trust the details
We verify what we publish and say where it comes from. Even so, operators and authorities decide departure times, meeting points, menus, routes and rules and can change them without warning, and weather, tides, events or an operator's choice may alter or cancel a trip. Read the listing you book in full before you pay.
Planning tools on the pages
Calculators, tick-off lists, helpers for choosing, charts, outlines and maps exist to help you plan. What they total or suggest is an estimate, not an offer and not a promise.
Why the tours cost you no more
Tour links are affiliate links: book through one and GetYourGuide or Viator pays us a fee, while your price stays as it was. Choosing which tours to show is our own editorial call.
Material from others
We point to sources and offers run by other parties, and those parties alone answer for what they publish.
Who owns the writing
Copyright covers the texts, tools and design of this site. You may read and print them for yourself and share a page by linking to it; any other use needs our consent. Tour photos belong to their providers; map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, under the Open Database Licence.
Where our responsibility ends in Hiroshima
Using the site costs nothing. Our liability has no cap for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health. In every other case we answer only for breach of an essential duty, limited to the damage normally foreseeable.
Governing law and updates
German law governs. A consumer based in another country keeps the mandatory consumer protections of that country. We can change these terms; the text online on the day you visit is the one that applies.
